There are certainly many more examples of “fiscal stimulus efficiency” out there.

Yes, that’s a great post, I’ve seen it before. But I was actually hoping for a graph, much like Beckworth’s, where you correlate swings in RGDP with swings in NGDP expectations, throughout the 20th (&19th?) century.
I’d like to build a house on the “nowhere” side of that bridge.

And what, exactly, is your problem with Kansai International airport ?
The project looks crazy, sure, but real estate near Osaka, and the mess generated by building the comparable Narita airport on land near Tokyo, were even worse.
